A buttery shortbread crust topped with tangy lemon filling. These bars are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Preparation:

  1. Mix flour, sugar, and butter; press into baking dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
  2. Whisk eggs, sugar, flour, lemon juice, and zest. Pour over crust.
  3. Bake 20 more minutes. Cool, dust with powdered sugar, and cut into bars.
