Fast and Easy 30-Minute Biscuits (Quick Drop Method)

Prep time:15 minutes              Baking time: 12-15 minutes               Makes: 12-15

Ingredients

Flour   2 cups

Baking Powder   3 teaspoons

Salt      1 teaspoon

Sugar   1 teaspoon

Vegetable oil   1/3 cup

Milk    2/3 cup

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into a medium-sized bowl.
  3. Beat vegetable oil and milk together in 1 cup measuring cup until well combined.
  4. Beat liquid ingredients into sifted flour ingredients. Whisk with a fork until the mixture no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl, and there are no lumps.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter on an oiled baking sheet.
  6. This is the point at which you can decide how many biscuits to make. If you make smaller 1 ½-inch spoonfuls, you can make 20-24 biscuits. If you make 3-inch spoonsful, you will have closer to 8-10. The only thing to keep in mind is that they all should be the same size; otherwise, when you bake them, the larger ones will be underdone, and the smaller ones will be burned.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes and check. What you are looking for is a golden-brown color and a biscuit that is firm to the touch when you tap it on top. If they aren’t ready, bake for 3 minutes at a time, checking in between.
  8. Now you have beautiful Fast and Easy Biscuit the go well with Super Simple Beef Stew or morning eggs.https://recipeswanted.com/easy-10-ingredient-beef-stew-budget-friendly-comfort/
  9. Enjoy!
