Classic Bruschetta with Fresh Tomatoes

A traditional Italian appetizer featuring toasted baguette slices topped with a vibrant mixture of ripe tomatoes, garlic, basil, and olive oil. Perfect for entertaining or as a light starter.

Ingredients:

• 1 baguette, sliced
• 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast for 5–7 minutes until golden.
3. In a bowl, combine tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
4. Spoon tomato mixture onto toasted bread and serve immediately.
